Prostate Cancer UK is enjoying an increase in donations following a recent overhaul of its online donor journey and payment options. The leading men’s health charity made changes to its online giving journeys using the goDonate platform from strategic creative agency WPNC.
It is no secret the charity world has moved at a quantum pace in the last twenty years. Whether it’s being able to get your message out through social media, donating in just a few clicks using technology such as Apple or Google Pay, or the need to create multi-device experiences, the opportunities for charities have never been greater. Even in a post-GDPR world, refined databases of contacts mean marketing can be tighter and more focussed.
This month WPN Chameleon’s digital specialists Addition took part in PayPal’s Charity office Hours event, bringing together experts in online donation conversion and experience to help charities increase their donations and find new ways to accept gifts.
WPNC has proven capabilities in donation technology, with established platforms Addition Enterprise helping out bigger organisations like NSPCC and The Royal British Legion, and goDonate supporting smaller charities.
The NSPCC has worked with WPN Chameleon’s digital team, Addition, to overhaul their online donation experience for new and existing supporters. The charity wanted to simplify and improve their online giving experience for their supporters with a more engaging donation journey and offering greater choice using the latest payment technologies.
The Stroke Association has redeveloped the online experience it presents to its supporters in time for its Christmas fundraising campaign.
